With a keen interest in performing a magnitude of complex orthopedic, laparoscopy, video endoscopy and soft tissue surgeries, Dr. Brian D. Schmidt is one of our skilled and most sought veterinarians.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois in 1980, Dr. Brian D. Schmidt completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 1982, joining the practice the same year. While in school, he was able to work as a research associate to one of the school's small animal surgeons -- allowing him to travel to other hospitals in the state as well as Vancouver, British Columbia assisting and learning numerous and complex surgical procedures.
A member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medicine Association, Dr. Schmidt is also a member of the AVMA and AAHA and is constantly continuing his education to maintain the high level of knowledge about the many problems and conditions that can be dealt with surgically.
Dr. Jennifer Lebbin graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1992. She earned her Veterinary Degree in 1999 from Texas A&M University. She has worked in private practice since that time. She has owned her own veterinary clinic for the past 18 years.
She has been married to her husband Joe since 1993. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and jet skiing. Her four-legged children include three dogs, three cats, a rabbit, and a chinchilla.
Dr. Lebbin’s primary interests are in internal medicine. She is comfortable treating dogs, cats, pocket pets, and reptiles.
