We strongly encourage all of our patients to visit us at least once a year for a wellness exam. Routine nose-to-tail wellness exams are protective of your pet’s health and safeguard against threatening, yet preventable, conditions. You may also expect your pet’s teeth to be examined and possibly cleaned. Preventative care is absolutely invaluable as it allows your pet to live a long, happy, and healthy life!
We ask that you bring your pet’s medical history to your first visit. It is helpful to keep an up-to-date journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including health conditions and behavioral changes. If you happen to keep a record of this information, share it with our team so we can best assist you. If you do not keep an updated record, simply fill us in on everything you feel is important and we will do the rest! Our experienced veterinarians will work with whatever information you provide.
In some cases, one of our doctors will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
